How the financing works

Financing is arranged through Financeit Canada Inc. on approved credit —
we’re not the lender and we don’t make the credit decision. Applying takes about a minute
and does not affect your credit score. You pay the same price whether you pay cash or
finance; there’s no surcharge for choosing monthly.

The payments above are calculated over a 60-month term, but the loan is amortized over a longer period — which is what keeps the monthly figure low. That means a balance is still owing when the 60-month term ends. At that point you can renew it at the rates in effect then, or pay it out. There is no penalty for paying it off early, and many people do exactly that.

Representative example: a $20,000 installation financed through Financeit Canada Inc. — 9.18% APR (8.99% annual interest rate), 60-month term, 240-month amortization period, $181.15 per month, $149 administration fee. About $17,872 would still be owing at the end of the 60-month term. Prices shown exclude GST and any permit fees quoted separately, and exclude optional payment protection insurance. On approved credit; not all applicants will qualify. Promotional rates are available until September 30, 2026.

Enter the price before GST. Financeit finances the GST too, so your actual payment will be a little higher — we’ll show you the exact figure on your quote.

Pre-qualifying takes about a minute and does not affect your credit score. Aim a little above your estimate so your options stay open once we’ve seen the site.

“Our Generac installation was seamless! Dylan provided several onsite visits and the communication by Dylan and Taylor throughout the install was excellent. Pippin and Tommy were the two onsite employees and both were professional, polite and hard working. Thanks kindly, you all exceeded our expectations!”

Fred Nelson · Google review

★★★★★

“We had Dylan and his team provide us with a quote and installation of a Generac 28kW back up power system. We are extremely pleased with Browning Electric on the installation and crew that performed the work. We would highly recommend them for any electrical work.”

Dexter & Carla Mosenko · Google review

“We recently had an issue with our Generac system and had to call Browning Electric to come out to fix it. It was at night and they came out right away. They stayed till problem was resolved and explained every step of the process clearly.”

We’re a Generac warranty dealer

Every unit we install carries Generac’s standard factory warranty, and extended warranty options are available at the time of purchase. Because we’re a warranty dealer, any warranty work goes through us — you call the people who did the install, not a call centre.

Where we work

Salmon Arm and the Shuswap, the Okanagan, Kamloops, Revelstoke, the Kootenays, and the Thompson–Nicola and Fraser Canyon as far as Lytton. If you’re outside that, call us anyway — on a full standby install it is usually still worth the trip, and we’ll tell you straight if it isn’t.

What happens next

  1. You book a free on-site assessment — no obligation, no charge.
  2. We size the unit to your panel, check gas supply and the run to your panel, and give you a firm written quote.
  3. If you want to finance it, you apply to Financeit and get an answer quickly. Approval is theirs, not ours.
  4. We pull the permit, install, commission the unit and walk you through running it.

Find out what yours would cost
